I've found a Henry Jobe in Jackson County MO...these are land records...but I've not looked them over yet...there is a McCay there was well, there appears to be several of them that have had several land transactions in Jackson County MO about 1848/1850... Henry Jobe apparently dies about 1849...in a power of attorney dated in 1849...there is an Elizabeth Jobe and Maria Jobe of Berkley County and William Jobe of Frederick County, State of VA, who appoint John Jobe of Jefferson County, OH as their attorney to handle the estate of of Henry Job dec'd late of Kansas Jackson County MO, including interests in St. Louis and counties of Jackson, Vanbursen in MO...attorney has power to sell and transfer stocks, land title, interests in and to all houses lots of land etc..
