Charlotte, Looks like you have found something that I didn't hav eor know - but can place the family! Very important discovery!! Please send anything you can on this. If you can scan these to me at [email protected] - please do! I had no idea where this Henry or John Jobe went to - but this has to be them. They had a sister named Maria that I know for sure and an unknown daughter who is probably Elizabeth. The only one I had information on of these children is the William Jobe who remained in Martinsburg, Berkley County, Virginia and married Ann Isabel Bales. I had lost track of ALL of his siblings and looks like you have found them. THANKS so much!! Now they are all children of Henry Jobe Sr.born November 06, 1789 banks of the Susquehanna River, Pennsylvania and died in Martinsburg, Berkley Co., Virginia (buried Brucetown Brick Church Cemetery, Frederick Co, VA) - though I don't have the date. He married Elizabeth Miller May 14, 1807 in Martinsburg, Berkley Co, Virginia (present-day West Virginia). Henry Jobe Sr. was the s/o Andrew Jobe and Abigail Miller who married Jan 31, 1786 Berkley Co., Virginia and gs/o Archibald Job and Margaret Rees and gt. gs/o Thomas Vernon Job and Elizabeth Maxwell. See Jobe Legacy and Book of Jobe. However, you will see we have nothing on where the children, Henry, John, Elizabeth and Maria went - only the parents and the son William Jobe who remained in Berkley Co., West Virginia. Now we know where to look for them and hopefully may fill in some of these miscellaneous charts that I have!
