He was admitted to the sanitarium on Monday, June 11 after suffering a heart attack at his work. Mr. Coale had been in the trucking business for many years until about two months ago when he became an employee of the City Street Department. He was born on a farm south of California in Moniteau County, December 30, 1903, a son of R. and Etta May Jobe Coale. His father died March 1, 1950. Louis Coale was married September 12, 1920 to Miss Ruby Lehman, who survives. In addition to his wife, other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Dorsey Goff in this city, and Mrs. Emmette Hall, south of this city; one son Jerry Coale of the home; two grandsons and one granddaughter; two brothers Ernest (Peck) Coale and Robert Coale, night poikceman in the city; the mother who lives with her son Ernest north of town, and three sisters, a twin, Mrs. George Bently, Silva, IL; Mrs. Clyde Cowger, Peoria, IL and Mrs. Carl Tising in this city. One brother, Gus (Tige) Coale died 22 years ago. Funeral Services were held at the Evangelical and Reformed Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. E. L. Koch officiating. Burial was in the Evangelical Cemetery under the direction of the Wilson Funeral Home." Note: Father of Louis Burke Coale is Louis Russell Coale
