Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Alexander Baptist Church with Rev. Alan G. Moor officiating and burial to follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. tonight at Loving Funeral Home. Mr. Jobe was retired after 37 years of service in the Sheetmetal Shop 17 N.N.S.Y. He was a member of Alexander Baptist Church and of Western Branch Masonic Lodge 189. He was also a member of the Believers Sunday School class. He was a native of Greensboro and veteran. Survivors include his wife, Mildred T. Jobe; daughter, Sandra J. Burton of Seminole, Fla.; sons, Stephen N. Jobe of Chesapeake and Samuel E. Jobe of Portsmouth; sister, Mary Lou McCollum of Greensboro and brother, Harvey Jobe of Greensboro; grandchildren, Kevin, Cindy and Barry Barnes of Seminole, Fla.; Stephen Jr., Shelly and Carrie Jobe of Chesapeake; two great grandchildren, Nicholas Barnes and B.J. Carryer of Seminole, Fla.
