He passed away peacefully at his home on November 26, 2007. Herb was predeceased by his son, Jesse, in 1998. Herb is survived by his wife, Cynthia Jobe, son, Jeff Jobe and his wife Nancy. He is also survived by his step children, Pam Theis and husband, Keith, Cynde Zietlow and husband Larry, Ted Moddy and wife Yvonne. Herb is also survived by six step grandchildren. Private graveside services will be held at Fort Sam Houston.
