Dear List, An incident has happened and I need to let all of you know the guidelines that Rootsweb sets forth to us Listowners. The list is set up for the exchange of Geneaolgy information ONLY! Things they DO NOT want posted to the message boards are, Virus Warnings, Advertisements, or Spam (which of course we do not have). If you find a geneaolgy item that is for sale say on e-bay, then it is fine to let us know, but you can not advertise something that you are selling yourself. We the listowners are in charge of maintaining the lists and making sure that the people that are on our lists follow the guidelines that Rootsweb has set forth. If they do not, then we do have the option to remove that person from the list. I did not do this, the person chose their self to leave rather than to follow the guidelines. Thanks to all of you for being such a great bunch of people to work with. And for those of you do not know, like this person didn't and should have since they have been on the list as long as I have, I am the List Owner of the JOBE-L and the JOBE-D.
