A native of California, he was born Oct.9, 1899, the son of Joe A. and Laura McKissick Jobe. On Sep. 6, 1924 he married the former Elizabeth Bower, who survives at the home. Mr. Jobe was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Leonard Missey led the Rosary at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Williams Woodward Chapel. Mr. Jobe was a retired mechanic. He was employed at Moniteau Mills 35 years. Other survivors include one son, William D. Jobe, Kansas City, one brother Harry Jobe, California; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Hunter, California and Mrs. Mildred Luce, Kansas City, KS.; and four grandchildren. Burial will be in Annunciation Cemetery.
