Jobe, 99, Tipton, died Saturday at Tipton Manor Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 21, 1898, near Clarksburg, a daughter of Isaac and Frances Porter Donley. She was married May 21, 1917, near Clarksburg to Lewis A. Jobe, who died in July 1969. A graduate of Clarksburg High School, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the first Baptist church, California, and taught Sunday school for many years. Survivors include: one son Glenn S. Jobe, California; two grandsons, five great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. One son Norris “Clelland” Jobe died in 1954. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, California. The Rev. Ivan Dameron and the Rev. Greg Morrow will officiate. Burial will be in Hickman Cemetery, Clarksburg. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California.
