He was killed in a coal mine accident in Cape Breton in 1933. His wife was Mary Ann MacIntyre born in 1891 and died in 1971. They had nine children. When he died she was left to raise all the children by herself at the age of 33. His fathers name was Donald Jobe Jr b 1852 and his mother was Julia Coady. His grandfather was Donald Jobe who was married to Allison Ester. I do not know where the family came from before they arrived in Cape Breton. Please contact me if you have any info on this family.
