Hi....since you mentioned AR cemeteries.... Sarah (Jobe) Douthit's grandson, Uriah J Douthit removed from Surry co NC to then Lawrence.now Sharp Co AR about 1859 (he had an 1859 land patent) His youngest child was born in 1866 and Uriah J was gone by the 1870 Census. I haven't been able to find him in any cemetery books. I assume he might have been buried on his land. Do you have any idea how I might find out for sure ? I was also told that there weren't any Will books (commercially abstracted ones) for AR. Do you know if that is accurate info ?
