She had to write (print in this case) EVERYTHING that was on the film on to the page! So though you do get ALL the very detailed information in some cases - you don't get the original census taker's writing! It comes out to the same thing as if you went to the library and read the census yourself though - as long as you write down everything EXACTLY as written - even mispelled words!
