This is a transaction and listing of items sold by John Hull, Tavern keeper, of Charles Town to Daniel Job Jr. on the 17th of December 1786. Of note is that Daniel is only 22, single and seems to spend alot of money and is 12 years from his marriage to Rachel Haines. But his father Daniel is wealthy and in 1 year will purchase 1/2 of another of the Nottingham Lots (500 acres each), 2 of which his great-grandfather Andrew Jr. already owned. Also of note is an old reference to "two Sad Irons". This is a reference to 2 weights of solid iron, a commodity of the times.
