This photo is of special interest to me as it shows all the children of John David Jobe. This family lived very near my father when he was growing up and Daddy was always being asked if they were connected. This family appears on the 1910 and 1920 Foard Co., Texas census - the same time as mine did. They are buried at the Vernon Memorial Cemetery where my great grandmother is buried. Little did he know at this time, that they were related in TWO DIFFERENT ways - the Jobe and the MacKay lines and both their ancestors had lived in Washington Co., TN together and before that in Virginia and Pennsylvania.
