The following was just sent to me! Now what I find interesting is that this is 1744 and it shows Abigail (Gatchell) (widow of Enoch Job, s/o Andrew Job Jr) ALREADY married to John Price and with children! Bill Jobe in the Journal listed a marriage date of Abigail to John Price of about 1747 and two Price children - Elisha and David. I'm presently showing a marriage date of January 24, 1746/47 Remember her first husband, Enoch Job had died in February 1732 - just 9 months after their marriage. Also read the will below. Who is James? Could he have been a child of Enoch Job? (If so, he obviously didn't have any children). I know that Andrew is s/o Archibald Job, gs/o Thomas Vernon Job and had always belived James to be his unmarried brother - but now I'm not so sure. Does anyone have a different marriage date for Abigail (Gatchell) Job and John Price? One would expect that it would be in the Nottingham records in Chester co., PA. Any ideas or comments?
