Jackson, 101, California, died Saturday, July 30, at Villa Marie Nursing Home, Jefferson City. She was born Jan. 8, 1887, at Moniteau County, a daughter of Taylor and Molly Doggett Jobe. She was married January 27, 1909, to Wilbur Jackson who died in 1968. She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include: two sons, Dorsey Jackson, Kaiser, James Jackson, Jefferson City and one daughter, Mary Hackney, Jefferson City; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. Services were held Monday at the Bowlin Funeral Chapel, with Rev. John Campbell officiating, assisted by Rev. David Tolliver. Burial was in California City Cemetery.
