I've been entering some information on the NC group - the Smiths. Well it looks like we may have a connection between the NC group and Andrew Job Jr group. Elizabeth A. Miller (d/o Isaac Miller and Jane 'Jennie' Smith) (gd/o James Smith and Mary Elizabeth 'Betsey' Jobe) and gt gd/o Samuel Jobe, Sr. and Rachel Little. married Bryan W. Job abt 1846 in Illinois. This family is then in 1850, residing Morgan Co, Illinois 1860, residing Marshall Co, Iowa By 1880 it appears that Bryan W. Job is deceased as Elizabeth is living with her brother in Madison Co., Iowa. NOW, I have two different ones who say this Bryan W; Jobe is s/o Archibald Job and Jane ?. This Smith/Miller family also lived in Cass Co., Illinois - so location is right. Well this must be Archibald Job who married Jane Brierley and on the 1840 and 1850 Cass Co., Illinois census. Does anyone on the list know anything about this Bray W. Job(e)??? I didn't have him listed as a son - but since he married BEFORE 1850 - very possibly could be. Archibald Job was s/o Morris Job and gs/o Archibald Job and Margaret Rees. Ann (Jobe) Brown
