This researcher wrote me about William Pryor Jobe and we could not find any connection. But in a second letter, he writes and says that William Pryor Jobe served in the civil war with his ancestor, William Jasper Beaty who had married Nancy ODLE. Well it was like I was hit on the head with a rock - Nancy (Odle) and Wiliam Jasper Beaty are in my files and Nancy is a Jobe descendant! Well as you can guess - this researcher hit a gold mine!! Not only did I already have his Odle - Jobe ancestors traced, but I was able (from the Andrew Jr Researcher's page) able to put him in contact with another researcher who had several more of his lines carried backward that don't appear on Jobe Legacy. Well had to share another SUCCESS STORY!! Though Jobe Legacy was just updated, it will be updated AGAIN within the next 3-4 days as I have recieved a great deal of information for this file in the last TWO DAYS! This came about from writing some letters to researchers on the Andrew Jr List that I had incomplete listings for or hadn't heard from in a while. Ann
