She was married to William D. Copple March 10, 1888. Seven children came to their home and five of them survive. Mrs. Copple died very suddenly at 7 oclock last Friday evening at her home in the east part of the town. She hade been subject to heart trouble for some time and was seized with a severe attack Friday evening. She soon passed away and medical aid which was quickly summoned, was of no avail. The funeral was conducted from the home of her mother, Mrs. J. E. Heavilin, at 4 oclock Saturday afternoon. Rev. J. I. Smallwood conducted the services assisted by Rev. Houston of the Baptist church. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery. Mrs. Copple was well liked by those who knew her and her death has caused much grief. She was a loving mother and dutiful wife and the husband and children have the sincerest sympathy of all in their bereavement. Note: William D. Copple was the son of John Copple and Sarah Ann Jobe.
