    2. How about a third person in bed with the married couple? Or a different partner than the spouse, but with the other spouses approval? Maybe an early form of "artifical" insemination? Rosanne

    1. [JOBE] Henrietta (Pace) Jobe
    2. Hello all, I received a very special Christmas present yesterday and today. I gentleman by the name of Darren wrote to me and also so Ann. He told us of how he had found some photos in an antique shop and they were so good he purshased them. He then got on the internet to try and find family and more history on the photos. He found Ann's site and my name, so he wrote to us. One of the photos was of Henrietta (Pace) Jobe, second wife of my Gr Gr Uncle William Stone Jobe s/o James Jobe and Margaret Stone. One of the really great things about these photos is that they are documented on the back. It even gives her death year and place. I have posted the photo of Henrietta on the Jobe Photo Gallery. It is #112. The rest of the photos are of her children from other marriages. Darren tells me the antique shop where he found these has 3 drawers full of OLD PHOTOS! I have made arrangements with Darren to purshase the photos from him for my family book. What better present could one get, but to have someone find a photo taken in 1893 in probably Cole Co MO and then write and tell you they had it! William Jobe died April 1893 in Centretown, Cole Co MO. Henrietta Jobe died 1894, Ravenna, Buffalo Co. Nebraska. HAPPY HOLIDAYS Freida Wells

    3. I have an newspaper obituary for Wilbur D Jobe which I have been trying to place in my branch of the family because some of my folks migrated from KY to the Beaver Falls area of PA. However, no luck with placing him and I believe that he is from a different branch whose presence in Beaver County PA is coincidental. I thought I would send this along in case it would be of interest to someone. Earl Jobe Printed 3 Jan 1978 (I think): WILBUR JOBE Memorial services were held Saturday at Campbell’s, 2618 Darlington Road, Chippewa Township, for Wilbur D Jobe, 73, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Born March 28, 1904 in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Daniel C. and Emma McQueen Jobe. An attorney, he was a member of the Florida bar since 1928. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Ponte Vedra, was the second president of Riverside Lions Club, was a former member of Jacksonville council in Jacksonville, Fla., and was a lieutenant in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. Surviving are his widow, Margaret M Jobe; two sons, Wilbur D. Jr., Mindelheim, Germany, and Jackson M., Jacksonville; one sister, Mrs. John C. T. Elder, Columbiana, Ohio; and five grandchildren. Burial was at Beaver Falls Cemetery, and the Rev. Myrl Gephart, of First United Methodist Church, Columbiana, Ohio, officiated.

    3. I hope more info will be available later. I'm not exactly sure how Ancestry.com gets their databases but it does seem as if they start out small and then when they add more to a database they already have, they call it a "new database". I guess that's how they can say they add so many new databases daily. ----- Original Message ----- From: "JOHN BALLARD" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, November 27, 2000 12:07 AM Subject: Re: [JOBE] Iowa & Louisiana marriages > Regrettably, many counties are not covered.
