    3. I have not completed ALL of the Elizabeth (Job) Leath albums that were posted before. Will have more to add later on when I start to add new data. Interested in this group, be sure and check the link below - many changes from before. Margaret, All of this group starting at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ajobebrown/j_caleb.html#Elizabeth_Leath are ready to be checked for link accuracy. This goes down to Jacob Job and Deborach MacKay. *All albums under her should have a -T and none should go to imagestation. Ann (Jobe) Brown

    1. [JOBE] Transfers (Grandchildren of Abraham Jobe of Johnson Co., IL) (Ann)
    2. Ann (Jobe) Brown
    3. Got through the grandchildren of Abraham Jobe of Johnson Co., Illinois (little green line). If you're intersted in this family - be sure and check all the changes. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ajobebrown/j_caleb.html#Abraham_Simpson Margaret, same procedure from above link to Nathan Job and Lydia McCarty - checking all LINKS that have a - T beside them. If there is a -T beside my name, the album should NOT go to imagestation. Will be moving down to the next generation for descendants of Samuel Job and Dorcas MacKay - where the * * * (stars) are. These next ones will be great great grandchildren of Samuel Job and Dorcas Mackay. Trying to get these done as fast as I can as February 1st is FAST APPROACHING and it is much easier when I can copy and paste and still be able to see the old albums while I'm working on the new ones. Over the weekend (Allan working day shift), I'll get back to some of the other link transfers that Freida, Randy, Patti and Tracey have been doing. Haven't forgotten about you. >grin< Those I know have been SAVED. Also know Carolyn Nichols is working on a few for her group. And like Freida just said two days ago - there are still LOTS on imagestation not moved yet. ----1st goal is to see every album with a name beside it and moved to another site -----2nd goal a - T after the transferred album showing the links have been revised and index page updated -----3rd goal - for anyone to be able to just quickly glance at one of the main pages (Caleb - Joshua, etc) and know immediately if we have any records/photos or memorials posted for a particuliar person, then to be able to go to the index page and see what is posted. Margaret - thanks for checking all these links for me. It is important that the links go to the right place. Ann (Jobe) Brown

If no -T beside my name - don't pay much attention to them yet. Margaret, The ones from the above link with a -T beside my name are ready to be checked that the links go to the right place. Go down to the next red line from here Polly Jobe and William Netherton. Ann (Jobe) Brown

    3. Thank you Ann, As a retired US Army officer and the mother of a US Navy sailor, I appreciate that the public supports our troops, from all countries, who are serving today. It was very different when I was on active duty during the Vietnam War. A HUGE Thank You to all of the JOB, JOBE, and JOBES cousins who have served or are now serving. 2. Ann (Jobe) Brown
    3. Here in Canada, it is Remembrance Day and brings back a lot of emotions especially for those of us who are directly involved with the military in any way. If I'm not mistaken, I believe it is Veteran's Day in the states. Let's all take a moment and Remember those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom today. Know this includes many Job(e) descendants, and even more when we include their spouses. It includes the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Indian Wars, Civil War, Mexican War, World War I and II, Korean War and the War on Terrorism, in Afghanistan and Iraq (which Patti and I can relate to having just recently have our sons return after deployment). I know three mothers right here in town near me who have sons leaving in July for a 9 month tour of Afghanistan. Each and every one of our military needs our prayers and support. And for those who have gone on or served in the past - Let's not forget their sacrifice and the struggles their spouses, parents and siblings went through. I just couldn't let this day end without saying THANK to ALL of our military - past and present. Bless you all and protect those who are still serving and in harm's way. *Today my son was in Kingston, Ontario where he was honouring our veterans in a special Remembrance Day Ceremony. And yes this morning in church when the photos were shown of the 71 killed in Afghanistan I had tears. My son knew one personally, was in the ramp ceremony in Kandahar for another and 2 were from within 15 miles of here. Ann (Jobe) Brown A proud parent of a son in the Canadian Forces

    3. Amen and Amen! xoxo Patti Here in Canada, it is Remembrance Day and brings back a lot of emotions especially for those of us who are directly involved with the military in any way. 1. [JOBE] Transfers (My Isaac - son of Samuel Job and Dorcas MacKay) (Ann)
    2. Ann (Jobe) Brown
    3. I finally got through my Isaac's Grandchildren (the small green line) on the Caleb Job site http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ajobebrown/j_caleb.html#my_isaac I'm not going to list them all here as I did quite a few changes - combing some and dividing others. Goal is that none of Samuel's children (red line), grandchildren (long green line) or great grandchildren (small green line) will have anything in their albums besides the ONE family - though the one family album could consists of a combination of Documents/Photos/Memorials. So if you're interested in my line (or I should say - Samuel and Dorcas (McKay) Jobe's son - Isaac Job) - then check out all the changes. Will now be moving to the grandchildren of Daniel Jobe and Mourning Pryor that have albums at the moment (small green line). Margaret, go ahead and check the links - starting at the link above on Caleb's site and go down to the next red line - which is Daniel Jobe and Mourning Pryor. You're checking anything that has a - T beside it to see that it goes to the right place. ---- *As I said earlier - this is all very slow- going. I'm trying to get through ALL of Samuel and Dorcas's great grandchildren while I can still copy and paste from imagestation. I have all the other transfers in a folder and will be doing then in between as I get a chance and when I get bored doing this very tedious moving around/combining/separating. Sometimes things get changed 2-4 times before I finish with the one family. Ann (Jobe) Brown

    1. Re: [JOBE] [JOB] Problems with albums
    2. Patti
    3. Oh wow...that sounds extremely frustrating--so sorry! God bless, I hope it works out ok. No more hair pulling! :o) xoxo Patti May look like I didn't do anything yesterday with the albums - but ran into a real problem when working with Picasa and my Samuel Jobe - Dorcas MacKay group. Going to be able to work around it - but going to be a crawl's space. Knew that I was only 22% full with the space that I was allowed so wasn't concerned. I had already uploaded in one upload ALL the old albums as they were for this group as I had them originally. Well you're probably wondering, then what is the problem - using only 22% of your allowed space and about 90-95% of what you're trying to upload and organize is already there. Well you're only allowed 250 albums, even if you paid for more space which I really don't need. So it is now like I'm cleaning a small room or file cabinent with no place to lay things while I organize into different groups. Slow - tedious - and frustrating to say the least. Know many of the later ones can be put together into one albumm including documents, photos and memorials - but I'm working on the earlier ones FIRST - which must be divided in order to combine with some of the later ones. Get the drift? Plus when you delete an album, it doesn't delete right then and there - you have to 'wait' for them to actually do the deleting. I did finally get the Jemima Ann (Bailey) Hall records/photos and memorials divided and then put back togetehr in a different way. The new albums will still be relatively small - but I'm trying (for example) to get ----records for an individual family from his 2nd or 3rd great grandparents ----photos from his gt grandparents ----memorials from his parents and then put ALL of these together into one album of their own. Meanwhile, the empty space you made, you have to WAIT for it to become available so you can do the procedure over again. Did find out that you are allowed 500 photos in any one album - as though anyone would actually want that many in one album to go through. Meanwhile Patti has taken a few more on Joshua 2 site for the Moses group. Her name will be beside the ones that she now has and will try and get up in the next couple of weeks. Anyway, back to hairpulling.
