Funny, I was just working on this some more and was just looking at Lou Ann Jobe's death certificate and her husband. Lou Ann Jobe married Joseph Anderson Newton (just had Joseph A. before - but death certificate does show a middle name of Anderson). I also found their daughter, Lydia's death certificate in Excelsior Springs, Clay Co., Missouri on September 15, 1955. And yes Joseph Anderson Newton is also a Jobe descendant. He was s/o Isaac Newton and Lydia A. Jobe. He was a brother to the Susan J. 'Susie' Newton who married her Jobe cousin, Reubin H. 'Rube' Williams, s/o James Williams and Sarah Jane Jobe. Anyone researching Elisha Jobe's descendants - be sure and check the next update - lots of new information from death certificates, Find a Grave Site, census, etc. And LOTS of intermarriages. I'll try and update Legacy this afternoon. Even though it was done recently, a lot of new information and tie ins on Elisha's group. So been keeping busy doing this, putting things together (what I love most) while waiting for Patti and Randy. They do have the albums saved that they are doing - so no danger of losing them. Patti, was good to hear form you - was beginning to get concerned. She has had one 'hectic' month or I should say 6-7 weeks now and Randy is finding all sorts of new data to add that wasn't posted before. Also been organizing the file that I have of NEW things to post to the albums. Will be starting that before long. If you haven't checked out the Brick Biennial book - it is really something, very interesting reading and the Jobe family is mentioned several times. A big THANK YOU for posting it for all of us to see. By the way, even though it doesn't say so yet, the 1940 death records for Missouri can now be seen. Freida, I was just looking at John Vandiver Jobe.
