Over the past year of 2003, we've added 6330 entries to Job(e) Legacy, 330 entries to Job(e) Branches, and 32 entries to Job(e) Twigs. We still have lots to do and more descendants to find. Still need everyone's help in this endeavor. Happy New Year to all! I want to wish everyone out there a most joyous New Year and hope this coming year is the best every! My greatest find in 2003 was to finally find the family information for my 2nd great grandfather Edward J. Jobe's sister Margaret Watts Jobe. For many years we wondered who this was that was listed in the Probate Record of Abraham s/o James M. Jobe and Margaret Stone. Well this year it came to life and now I have a full family sheet for the family. Recently I received as you now the obit for her husband Jacob Maugans and am tryng to find the complete death date so I can obtain hers. This year has been one of the best for me in ALL families I am working on, found many new cousins, made a trip to Iowa on my husband's LANE family, he got to meet a new cousin I have corresponded with for well over two years and we spent four days working at courthouses, city halls and cemeteries. This is has been a GREAT year for me genealogy wise. For those of you who have located information on any of the JOB/ JOBE lines I work on especailly the JOB/ LOGUE I truely thank you for your help and sharing.
