My address is [email protected] Do you know for sure that your Sarah Minnie Jobe was born Feburary 1885 in Monroe Co., KY and was in Fannin Co., Texas by 1900 census? Do you know for sure that she did have a brother named John? James W. Jobe was the s/o Amon Jobe and Rhoda 'Rody' Arterburn. Nancy Matilda COPASS was also a Job(e) descendant herself - being the d/o Ira Greenbury Copass and Jane Waller, gd/o William M. Copass and Rhoda Jackson and gt gd/o John Copass and Nancy Jobe. I have death certificate on my ggrandmother Sarah Minnie JOBE, and it lists her mother as Matilda COPELAND with the information being given by Sarah's daughter at the time of death. I believe I've located Sarah and her family in the 1900 Fannin Co., TX census, which would be the only census she would be shown with her family (born too late for 1880, and married before next census in 1910). Marriage license shows she married my ggrandfather James Vestal Hughes in July 30, 1905 in Greenville, Hunt Co., TX. I have no copy of marriage license, only date & location info from a look-up, so I don't know if parent's names were listed. Does anyone know if the COPELAND name on her death certificate my actually be COPASS? Dates and locations would all match up great if so.
