I've just gotten around to reading this report on the 1910 census. Under Moniteau Co., you list Alvin Jobe, Nancy, and the mother-in-law "Beremula Jobe." I believe that this should read "Permelia", although the census taker may have written "Beremula". She was actually Elizabeth Permelia "Melia" Nowlin Jobe, daughter of Mary and Bryan Thomas Nowlin. Something that has been bothering me is the question of the name of Bartholomew (b. 1806, son of Elisha) Jobe's wife. It is sometimes shown as Mary and sometimes shown as Morgan. Has anyone seen the actual handwritten record from Cooper Co.? Could it have been written "Maryan" and appeared to the transcriber as "Morgan"? The name Mary Ann sounds a lot more reasonable. Anyone out there in Cooper Co. who could take a look?
