Some of you may want to try this 'new search engine' for World Connect. It was listed on the World Connect Suggestion site and still in being tested. This tool searches for databases that contain the listed surnames. http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/ss Try just Jobe and you'll get 2636 different databases. They automatically (for now) list the data base in order of the # of entries appearing for the surname. Of course - Legacy and Branches are the top two. I just discovered I can access HeritageQuest free, at home through my public library. They don't have all the census data online yet but there is quite a bit. I'd be happy to do any look-ups. To Ann, I had a chance to extract more Jobe census information that's not on the website. So far I've got Massachusetts, New Hampshire & Maine legible and in a Word document.
