AOL EmailJudi, Not yours, but you just solved a big mystery for me! Good work! I am sending this to the list also, as I want eveyone to know how one small piece of information which I might not have can lead to so much when put together with what I already know. So PLEASE, if you're not absolutely sure, that I already have the information - forward it my way! Notice that this Hiram Jobe is age 90 when he died in 1905 (making him born in the vicinity of 1815) and a Lee England ordered the burial. Well I have very few Hiriam Jobe in my files - rather unusual. So I checked World connect for a Hiriam Jobe born 1810-1820 - as I have all my Jobe files there so knew that there was a good chance that he would show up in at least one of my Jobe files. *Well the only one that showed up even close was Hiriam Jobe born August 1816 Sullivan Co., TN married to Mary Ann 'Polly' Howard. I didn't have a death date for him - only that he died after 1900 census when he was living (on an index that I have) of 1900 Saline Co., MO with a Thomas Biggs family and listed as father-in-law. For some reason I had never checked to see what the daughter's name was that he was with - just had index. So I went to LDS records and looked for Lee England and there were 2. I clicked on the first one born 1866 Missouri and he showed up as a child, age 14 of a John England and a Jane ? and in Blackwater, Saline Co., MO. Bingo, this is where Hiriam lived at this time. So figured Lee must be the grandson of HIriam in 1905 who ordered the burial. At that time, Lee England would have been 41. Plus his mother was Jane and Hiriam did have a daughter, Jane, the right age but I had no husband for her. Well even though I was pretty sure I had the right guy, I decided to check the neighbors and guess who was living next door - good old Thomas H. Biggs married to Katie R. B. (Jobe) - the daughter that Hiriam would be listed with 20 years later!. So thanks to you sending this one little tidbit, I now know when Hiriam Jobe died, where he is died and who two of his daughters married and where they were in 1880 census and several of their children.
