Going a bit smoother and quicker with this group. This group includes Eli B. Jobe's first three children (Epsey, Jesse, Elijah) Jesse Jobe married Susan Ann McIntire 1846 in Oregon Co., Missouri and they were my 2nd great grandparents. Both Jesse and Susan died in 1852. Their one daughter died 1854/58 time frame. My own great grandpa, Caleb Jobe was born September 1847 Oregon Co., Missouri. He lived with his Grandpa Eli B. Jobe until he died between 1860/62. Prudence also died between 1850/54. Sounds like there was some type of epidemic during this time. Anyone have any idea what could have killed so many people, of various ages, around 1853-1854 in the Oregon Co., MO - Randolph Co., AR area? Anyway great Grandpa Caleb Jobe went to live with his Uncle Elijah Jobe who had married Mary M. Parrack October 1850 Oregon Co., Missouri. When Elijah and his children migrated to Texas about 1874 - Caleb and his young family came also.
