    3. Here we go again. We are coming across alot of new documents these days. In the months to come we will be posting new transcriptions of documents found pertaining to the earliest Jobes and even more pertaining to our great greats. We could use some transcribers. If you think you can read someone elses handwriting written in the King's english, then we need your expertice. Or if you can just retype what was previously typed, we need you. Margaret and Lonnie have been doing the majority, but we need more. My latest dig has produced 336 new documents on the early Jobs of Cecil County, Maryland and about 80 from Chester County, Pennsylvania concerning Andrew Job Jr. I have double that in newspaper clips and locality related Jobes. If you feel so inclined, contact Ann, Freida or myself for ways to help grow your Jobe site. Randy Do not go where the path may lead; Go where there is no path and leave a trail. Emerson

    2. James, I would be willing to help transcribe the Cecil County documents. Depending on what you have, I may already have done some of them. I sent Ann an interesting item some months ago regarding Andrew Jobe Sr.'s refusal to pay taxes. I'm descended through the NC line. I live in Calvert County, MD, about 2 hours from Cecil County. Please feel free to let me know what you have or just send it along, and I'll get started. I generally transcribe into MSWord and scan the actual documents as PDFs. So if you want to send me hard copies, I will return a transcription, a scan and the hardcopy. If you've already scanned the documents, I'll return a transcription.
