Spent the morning basically doing transfers, updating website, etc. As I go along, I'll try to keep everyone updated on what I'm doing. Some of these are going to take quite a while as there are also a lot of index pages and links, which could be on several pages that I have to change. ***Also, my first priority at the moment is to get someone to take the remaining albums, or family groups, and post name beside those taken and see that they get whatever they need is downloaded. Since imagestation is already showing many blanks where there should be documents/photos showing, I'm having to go in and find them on a CD or my file folder. So after someone decides to take some of the albums, I have to check out where they are going to be placed, how they are doing it, and then make sure they get ALL the images they need. Also, as of November 12th, though the imagestation albums will still be up until February 1, you will NOT be able to download original images. Oh, thanks Ann, I'm just trying to sort out what I have at this point ...I'd sure like to get more info on Job and Ann, although that estate record for her out of OH, is really good....:) I also have some info on Moses McKay, he was a cousin I think of Job's.... I may see if I can find some more census records for that area...but right now, I'm just trying to get what I have up...we'll see if it helps anyone... I also enjoyed looking again at all the Andrew Job info you have up...you've all done just a wonderful job on that early research...I particularly like the Map...that Edward Beeson in there might be tied to my Cherokee line, Hannah Lewis' line, runs back to a John Lewis and Patience Beeson, I believe it is in North Carolina...doing this from memory, always a dangerous thing to do...anyway, her father was a Benjamin Beeson out of NC and I'm sure they came from in the east some where before that, or at least their family was back in that area... Since I'm handling Elisha's line, I thought it best to set up in similar fashion myself. http://public.fotki.com/my2kidsmom/ is the main link and shows from Enoch, Sr., Enoch, Jr., to Elisha. Well, I have to admit, I'm still trying to get a handle on all these lines....:) I took a sneek peek at Ann's World Connect tree and have been adding some info to my lines as well...we should have had computers ions ago...:) Greg Dotts, who is also a gggrandson of Leah McKay and James H. Dotts, also had a wonderful site with lots of info on it...but he went into the computer business and hasn't gotten it back up yet....:) So I have quite a bit on the Dotts in this group....:) and since James H. Dotts and Leah McKay met in Clinton County OH, I was able to find some info on them as well...I've also got some stray McKay info I think out of OH, but will see as I sort it all out... so what do I need to do? I could just start with the first one and work down from there...how long do you have to move them? What I noticed about ImageStation several years ago, is they started requiring folks to pay for down loading images...as I recall, at first it was only the looker and not the person that posted the images, then it was both, they were charging, at that point I said, *I'm outta here* and moved everything I had there...are they still doing that....? So far this is the best site I can see. Since Fotki has a special of $30 now with unlimited space, I will be purchasing a membership to the site, as I will be taking my line down 6 generations so will have LOTS to post eventually. Thanks go to Lorelei and Patti. Tracey Michelle is also taking some of the descendants of Jacob Job and Deborah Mackay of the ones that she descends from. I'll have her name posted shortly beside the ones that she is taking. Tracey is a triple descendant from Jacob through Mary Leah (Jobe) Cox (2 lines) and Phebe (Jobe) Barron.
