    2. Ann (Jobe) Brown
    3. Donna, Slow in answering this, but did see where Billie offered to look it up for you. Been busy with some of my other lines. Anyway, I did get a chance to see the actual 1910 census and I do believe it is Permelia that is written. However, I can see where a transcriber, not knowing the actual name, could transcribe a "B" instead of a "P". It has now been corrected. Now as for Mary 'Morgan', I would be interested in this also. I just checked the Bible record that Margaret had sent a few years back and it just says Mary Williams. If anyone could check the actual handwriting from any records in Cooper County, MO, to see if this could possibly be Maryan instead of Morgan would really be appreciated. Ann > I've just gotten around to reading this report on the 1910 census. Under Moniteau Co., you list Alvin Jobe, Nancy, and the mother-in-law "Beremula Jobe." I believe that this should read "Permelia", although the census taker may have written "Beremula". She was actually Elizabeth Permelia "Melia" Nowlin Jobe, daughter of Mary and Bryan Thomas Nowlin. > > Something that has been bothering me is the question of the name of Bartholomew (b. 1806, son of Elisha) Jobe's wife. It is sometimes shown as Mary and sometimes shown as Morgan. Has anyone seen the actual handwritten record from Cooper Co.? Could it have been written "Maryan" and appeared to the transcriber as "Morgan"? The name Mary Ann sounds a lot more reasonable. Anyone out there in Cooper Co. who could take a look? > > Donna >

    3. Ann Just took time to review your personal family story and pictures. It is real great........I have 2 daughters---and I know how proud a grandparent can be about these young'uns. I have 2 grandsons, 5 granddaughters-----then, 7 great grand sons and 10 great grand daughters. Talk about spoiled ! ! It is really something to listen when my daughters get together---Whose grandkid is the smartest, cutest, comes up with the cutest "things".... I thank the Lord for all of these blessings. All are healthy, lovely and VERY smart--even tho they don't always show it !!!!!!!!! We are so blessed. I have been in the Assemblies of God since 1950. Been teacher for Jr Boys, Teens, Adult Bible Class, etc. But best of all saved and looking forward to the Rapture, Heaven----and JESUS. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life-------and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever ! I appreciate your testimony------and Allan's. You don't have to answer this one---make better use of your time.
