All I know of the Polly, James, and George situation is this: The birthdate for Polly is found in the Bible of John A. Jennings in possession of Mrs. G. H. Hubbard, Hico, Hamilton County, Texas. The marriage to James Porterfield could be a complying error by another researcher after I look back at it>there is no proof and the could be in error. I do know that the following marriage records appear (see below) but I do not know if this is the same Polly. Marriage License and Bonds of Wilson County, Tennessee 1.
