'G'day from 'Down Under' - Looking for information on a George & Rose Jennings (my gggg grandparents) from around Norwich/London in the 1800-1850s. Their son George (unsure if there were any other children) was born in Norwich in March 1818 & married a Martha Woolner (born in Great Yarmouth in August 1819 - parents James & Ann (nee Wilson)) in London on 3 November 1839. A child - Mary Emma - was born on 2 December 1840 & the family emigrated to Australia, arriving on the Queen Victoria in Sydney on 26 July 1841.Three other children (George, William & Mary Ann) were born in Sydney (for which we have subsequent family information), but no records of marriage/death of Mary Emma or death of George. Martha remarried an Edward Coulson in 1852 & have records of her death. The infamous 'brick wall' is the lack of any information on George & Rose & actual birth details of son George.
