    1. Re: [JENNINGS-L] Jennings
    2. Hello, I don't know if there is a connection right offhand but I have JENNINGS into Mississippi in Covington County, MS by the mid-1800s. My great, great, grandfather was Bailey JENNINGS who married Kitty EARLE December, 1811, and their daughter, Sarah 'Sally' JENNINGS, my great, great grandmother, married Jeremiah 'Jerry' PARKER, born: 1795 in Maryland, parents: ??, poss. Richard T. PARKER was his father and he descends from the BARHAM - PARKER line in Maryland in the late 1600's and early 1700's. Sarah 'Sally' JENNINGS and Jeremiah 'Jerry' PARKER had several children including my great grandfather, Spencer B. PARKER, born: 1859, and he married my great grandmother, Rachael Moranda 'Randa/Randy' LEWIS aka Rachael Moranda LEWIS COLEMAN BRIGHT PARKER. Their daughter, Allie Artimissa PARKER, my grandmother, was born: 1892 near Braxton, Simpson Co., MS, married James Martin MYRICK and moved to Northeastern Louisiana near Oak Grove in the 1920's.
