Hello: I am interested in your first name as my great great grandfather was Tyra D. Jennings of Lafayette County, MO and later Chariton Co., MO. He was b. ca 1818 in TN, possibly Maury Co., and died in 1873. His name was often written as "Tirey" or "Tyree". He married Charity Couts, daughter of Christley Couts and Frances Barton. I believe that Tyra was the son of David Jennings and Sarah Glenn Dabney but have never found definitive proof. I have a great deal of evidence supporting that conclusion but have always hoped to find someone who might have family knowledge or better yet, a family bible. Any connection? Evelyne Keith P.S.
