Greetings " I am new to your list. Let me introduce myself. I am Fred baird and have been following a different line(I think the wrong one) I now believe that I am related to the Jennings through John Batte Baird that Md. Jenny Jennings , the sister of Elizabeth that Md. Alexander Baird. Va. through NC..John Batte was a brother of Alexander.who died in Abbyville SC.1797.I think John had at least two sons Alexander and William that spent some tome in Tenn. and went to Ga. abt. 1799. I understand there are two large files if Baird-Jennings information in Montgomery, Ala. Archives and library. Does anyone know abt. them? Have they been Micrifilmed> I would like to hear from any and all of you that might have any information along these lines.
