Hello, Don, I've been quite interested in all the Jennings e-mail that's floating through right now. My line comes through Elijah Harrison Jennings. M. (1)Elizabeth Williams, (2)Priscilla Hackworth, and (3)Margaret Malissa Tucker, my ggrandmother. They married in Wilson Co., Tn., and are related to that group, but I can't find definitely who his parents were. If you have anything on him, I would be eternally grateful! They moved to Il. as did some of the others. Others of the same group moved to Mo. and Texas. Some papers speculate that his father was either James or William. Deloris

I am still looking for the children of William J. Jennings who married Sarah Donaldson in 1845. The Donaldsons lived in Gibson Co.,TN, so assume William J Jennings did also. The Donaldsons were members of a Baptist church. If you have a Sarah D. Jennings listed living with anyone on the 1850 census and forward, this might be a lead. She would have been born ca. 1825 .
