    1. [JENNINGS] Abner Jennings and Family
    2. Linda and Gail, Abner is a grandson of Robert Jennings and Catherine Sallee, through William and Ukn Cross. There is good documentation of Abner and Chloe Farris Lester in the Bible Records of William Lester and his four wives and 21 children. The Bible gives the first of the children born to Abner and Chloe. Those were William C, Mary Ann White, Jessee T., Nancy A. and James S. L. I think. The other children are listed in the Bible of Mary Ann White Jennings Boydston. I do not know who has that Bible, but I have copies of the pages. Elizabeth Ann b 18 Aug 1836 d Dec. 1859. Both she and Chloe are found on the 1860 mortality Census. They both died of typhoid in Benton Co. AR. George W. Jennings b 1 Jan 1839 TN died aft 1920. He is on the 1920 Stephen County, OK Census with his son Jim. This is my great grandfather and I would like to find the exact dates and place of his death and burial. Edmond Lester Jennings b 5 May 1841 MO I may have his death date, but have not recorded it. He remained in Benton Co. AR as an outstanding citizen. Joshua P. Jennings b 13 Dec 1843 I do not know if this was MO or AR. He died Mar 1869 in Benton Co. AR. He is listed on the 1870 Mortality Census. If Florence is correct that Waylon's father carried through with the W. A. initials, he may not have been in my Jennings family, since George W. did not use that naming pattern. Let me hear from anyone with more information about my Jennings. Pat
