I, too, am searching for some Jennings with Missouri ties. My gg grandfather served in a Missouri regiment in the Civil War and married a woman from Missouri. And, there might possibly be some other ties. I would be interested in hearing what anyone knows about the Missouri Jenings. Pat, My gg grandfather was supposedly born in 1824 in Washington Co., Illinois. However, I can find nothing on him in Illinois, and I am now wondering if perhaps it wasn't Washington Co., Missouri, since he went back there from Texas and married a sweet young thing who was only 16 -- he was 39.
