Wes, I have a John Wesley Jennings, Sr. b. 1844 in Morgan (now Noble) Co., OH. He was son of Abraham , b.1818 and Louisa Foreman Jennings. John W. Sr. married in 1868 (1) Elizabeth Clipner, b. 1849 in Zanesville, Muskingum Co., OH, and between 1881 and 1884 the family moved to Murphysboro, Jackson County, Illinois. In 1900 he married (2) Ida James and they had two sons. John Wesley Jennings, Sr. had a family of nine children with Elizabeth Clipner. Among them was a son, John Wesley Jennings, Jr., b. 1887 in Murphysboro, IL. John Wesley, Jr. married Kathryn //. He died in in 1942 and is buried in Pleasant Grove Memorial Cemetery in Murphysboro.
