    2. JENNINGS List If you receive this message on the JENNINGS list would you please respond as we are having a little bit of technical difficulty. For some reason, some of the posts have been bouncing back to the originator and just now when I went to send a test message to the list I received the post but in the Subject line it said that I was not a subscriber. So, if there is anyone else on the list having trouble in any way with your posts please let me know. Thanks very much. Sincerely, Bellinda Myrick - Barnett JENNINGS@rootsweb.com List Administrator

    1. [JENNINGS] Jennings of Tipton County
    2. I'm looking for any information I can obtain on my grandfather and grandmother who resided in Tipton, Indiana. My grandfather was Henry L Jennings a watch repairman who had a shop on Jefferson Street in Tipton. He, I believe passed away in 1927. My grandmother lived on Popular Street in Tipton She died in 1952 and both are buried in the Tipton Cemetery. My grand mothers maiden name I believe was Ryan. Equally, she had been married before to a male named Tyler. I also believe there was a farm family whose name I believe to have been Beaver (Lloyd and Ethel) who were related some way to my grandmother. Also Ethel had a sister named Fernie but I don't know what her maiden or married surnames were. I would appreciate hearing from anyone recognizing my grand parents names or the relationship of Lloyd , Ethel or Fernie. Ed Jennings

Robert Jennings (1805-1881), with his brother William Jennings (1814-1850), went from Virginia in 1832 to Johnson's Grove, Haywood County, West Tennessee. It is said they came with one Thomas Claybrook from Louisa County, Virginia. Louis made regular trips from Virginia to West Tennessee, bringing in early settlers.
