My g-grandfather, Elijah H. Jennings married Margaret Malissa Tucker in Statesville, Tn. in 1844, the soon moved to Morgan Co., Il., and on census, she listed herself as born in Ky. Families intermarried so much, I wonder if there is a connection there. There are other groups of Jennings in the area, and some of them are related. Deloris
Thanks for the Vawter info. Yes, my Jennings were from Ky., Tn., Il., and before that probably either N. or S. Carolina or Va. I haven't made connection yet with the ones you have mentioned, but I'm still searching them, too. Deloris
Hi, I am researching my grandmother's line. Her maiden name is Jennings. She was born in Kangley, Illinois, so was her father Lewis Roy Jennings who was born on 27 June 1883 to Issac Newton and Eva Lehman Jennings. Issac was born in Breen County Pennsylvania, and his father Lewis W. Jennings was born May 20 1825 in Uniontown Pennsylvania. He married Mary Biddle. Does anyone have any information on these Jennings. I would appreciate any leads and I will trade what information I have with you! Thanks, Angela Chrisler ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

Dear Betty, I'm not sure because I don't know if William M. Jennings had bros. (or, for that matter, sisters). I need to find his parents, then I can talk business.
