    2. Carl, I just received information of Edward Jennings b abt 1774 VA, d aft 1850. He is found on the Claiborne Co. TN Census. There is also a Wm. H. b. abt 1804 m. Sallie Gray and George W. b 1840 TN m. Mary ukn bef 1860. The evidence that has come to me is they may have been father, son and grandson, but it has not been proved. Pat

    3. Hi! There are at least two Levi's in the "Descendents of JOHN JENNINGS," that precede your Levi. You may log on to: http://members.localnet.com/~rossbk/GenJENNINGS.htm for more info. I'm not of this line, but the Jennings's painted a broad swath across ALL Jennings's - I printed it; its only 46 pages!!!! (My orig. msg: Oscar Orlando Jennings m. Emma Bailey 20 April 1884, Ashtabula, Ohio. Oscar had a brother: George Jennings Oscar was my g.grandfather AND I have about 5,000 pages of Bailey's!!!!!) Have fun!! 3. Hi Sherry, The David D. and Ruth E. Wright Jennings are my ancestors. David was b. 1797 in VA and d. 22 April 1879 in Noble Co., OH. Ruth Wright was b. 1797 in PA and d. 5 Feb 1873 in Noble Co., OH. They were married abt 1817. They had a family of 10 children; some of them born in VA and some b. in OH. I have not been able to find parents for David D. Jennings or Ruth Wright but I have a lot of family information on their descendants and would love to share. Thanks for the posting! 2. Jo Ellen, Your post caught my attention because of the Thompson name...not really common as a given name. My grandfather was Richard Thompson Jennings, and I have felt the Thompson probably came from someone's surname in the family. My g-grandfather was Elijah H. Jennings. One census says b. in Ky. (1812/13), others say Tn. He m. in Statesville, Wilson Co., Tn. I know some of the Jennings went back & forth between Ky & Tn. He m. 1. Elizabeth Williams in Tn. in 1837, and Margaret Malissa Tucker in 1844 in that area. If you come across anything that would link him, please let me know. I have searched for years to try to find his parents. Deloris

    3. I have been stuck for quite some time on my branch of the Jennings family. I am wanting to find out more about William Jennings who died in January 1809 in a cholera epidemic in Mercer Co., KY. His wife was Mary Thompson (daughter of Archibald Thompson and Margaret McClure). I believe he was born about 1789. His children were Thompson P., Ann Elizabeth (?), William H., Robert and John C.
