    3. I made it to the cemetery at Ogdensburg, Wisconsin! John Jenkins' grave listed his middle initial as J. and his birth date as June 30, 1818. Since the family records tell me he was born in New York and some of his children were born in Tioga County, NY. I now have more to go on! I also got the middle initial (F,) of Ann Fronk and her b. 9 jun 1821 and d. 3-28-1901. In addition, found several graves of other branches of the family. All in all, a great cemetery visit! The best part -- my Dad drove me by the Jenkins homestead north of Ogdensburg. A working farm, with the house and barn and other out buildings still standing -- circa 1860--(another research clue). Dad said he knew who owned it so we plan to call ahead next time to schedule a visit. Unfortunately, the funeral of a dear aunt from another side of the family, necessitated a quick trip, so I wasn't as well prepared as I might have been. But I shall return again some time this summer to visit the Waupaca library and courthouse. Thanks for your support! ---------- > From: Susan C.
