I am looking for the parents of Matthew Jenkins. Matthew was born somewhere in Tennessee in 1796. He married Sylpha Murphy. The family moved to Pope Co. Illinois in 1820. I have information about the family in Pope Co. but cannot track them back to Tennessee Any help would be greatly appreciated.
