Looking for parents, birthplace and date of John Templeton Jenkins who was in Coos Bay Oregon circa 1890-1900. His son, John Hayes Jenkins, born in Coos Bay in 1896 and was my grandfather. His wife was Mary Willena(?) Hayes, daugther of William Washington Hayes and Martha Huntington Hayes. The Hayes crossed the Oregon Trail in 1862, leaving in the Huntington wagon train from Shelby(sp?) Co., Indiana. John Templeton had a brother, William Seymour Jenkins, who moved to Redlands, CA and dropped the Jenkins name. Any imformation about John Templeton Jenkins of Oregon would be greatly appreciated.
