    3. My GILMORE/LEE/SMITH/GRIDER/PYLES/CRAMER/JENKINS connection It is so confusing, since everyone kept marrying back into the family. My big problem is figuring out who(Phebe GILMORE) my great grandmother's parents are. This is a long post, broken out as a list, relationship, then dates. Hope you can make it through it. The JENKINS line does show up, mid way down. My great great grandmother's sister married my great grandfather's 1/2 brother. My great grandfather's 1/2 brothers daughter married my grandfather (James Edgar JENKINS), and when she died my grandfather married her 1/2 cousin and my grandmother. Jinnie LEE m. ?GILMORE/GALLYMORE their daughter -Sarah GILMORE/GALLYMORE, m. David SMITH daughter of Sarah and David SMITH =Sarah Ann SMITH , m. William Patterson GRIDER 2 daughters of Sarah Ann and William Patterson GRIDER = -Nancy GRIDER, m. Francis M. PYLES, and Arlebell GRIDER m. Ben F. CRAMER daughter from Nancy and Francis PYLES = Melvina Milinda Ann PYLES m. William H. CRAMER. daughter from Arlebell GRIDER and Ben F. CRAMER =Nancy CRAMER, m. James Edgar JENKINS when Nancy CRAMER died, James Edgar JENKINS m. Delores Elenea CRAMER, daughter of William H. CRAMER and Melvina Milinda Ann PYLES. The 1860 Census shows Pheba b. 1830, TN and William CREAMER, b. 1828, KY as husband and wife. (Phebe/Pheba, was a GILMORE/GILMER/GALLYMORE) Barton City, MO 1870 census shows CRAMER (changed it toCramer from- CREAMER) . Pheba (Gilmore)CRAMER and William CRAMER (Pheba, I have as Phoebe) Children: Andrew 2 years and John "I" or "S" 13 years old b. IN William H.(Wm. Harrison, age 6 years , b. MO) = my great grandfather John CRAMER (brother of William Cramer)b. KY, has a child born in KS. 1880 Census Barton City, shows Phoebe, Andrew J, and William H. (William-the father, must have died between the 1870 & 1880 census. Can't read notes, something showed Union Township (there is a Union and Union County in KY?) Pheba as a Housekeeper b. TN and William CRAMER as a farmer from KY William H. CRAMER is 1/2 Brother to Ben Franklin CRAMER, b. Aug 1855, d. 1930(Ben and William H. are buried in Bethel Cemetery in Gravette, AR) Ben Franklin CRAMER, b.Aug, 1855, Lamar, Barton Co., MO. d. 1930 Hiwasse, Benton Co., AR, m. Mindley Arlabell GRIDER, b. 18 Feb1861 in Garfield AR, d. 1945 buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs. Children in order: Bertie, Anna, Rosa Elizabeth, Nancy, Benny, Dolly, Charlie, J.H. (all born in AR, Benton Co.?, Dolly and J.H. could have been born in Westville, OK) (note there may have been 1 son born to Ben Franklin, from an earlier marriage named Ben or Henry) The above Nancy CRAMER b. April 27, 1892 Bentonville, Benton County AR, d. 1920's (my records show would have been about 1925 or 1926) died in Watts or Stilwell OK of Cancer. The 1900 Census shows Nancy still alive.) Nancy CRAMER (daughter of Ben F. CRAMER and Mindley Arlabell GRIDER)married my grandfather, James Edgar JENKINS.(he later married Delores CRAMER, my grandmother, and Nancy's 1/2 cousin) Mindley Arlabell GRIDER, b. 18 Feb. 1861, and sister Nancy GRIDER, b. 1844. Mindley GRIDER married my great grandfather's 1/2 brother Ben Franklin CRAMER. Nancy GRIDER married my great great grandfather Francis(Frank) M. PYLES, who is the father of my great grandmother Melvina Milinda Ann PYLES, who married William Harrison CRAMER. Parents of Mindley Arlabell and Nancy GRIDER William Patterson GRIDER b. 1824 m. Sarah Ann (Sally) SMITH, b. 1826 Parents of Sarah Ann SMITH David Smith and Sarah GILMORE/GILMER/GALLYMORE (both born ca 1800?) I have a note from Nona Budd in CA, that states Sarah GILMORE's parents were Jinnie LEE, and ? Gilmore/Gallymore and was part Indian. Parents of William Patterson GRIDER Moses Hare GRIDER, d. Johnson County AR, m. Mary POWELL (William Patterson GRIDER ?b. Williamson County TN, 1824, was in Johnson County AR until at least 1874 (Phoebe Ann Gilmore, b. 1830 who married the above William CREAMER b. 1828, has to be from the Jinnie LEE and ?GILMORE/GALLYMORE connection, but I can't figure out the dates....something doesn't seem right.
