Hey folks, I am searching for a line of Jenkins that, according to family legend, begins on Skyline Drive in Rappahanock County, where there is a Jenkins Gap and Jenkins Overlook. I haven't been able to trace it that far, yet, but this is what I have so far. My great grandfather, Clarence Braxton Jenkins was born in 1867. He married Lucy I. Ritter, who was born in 1870. I have only been able to find one sibling for Clarence B., a brother named George. At one point they lived in Boyce, in Clarke County, VA. My grandfather Clarence Ritter Jenkins was born in 1905 and married Essie Virginia Taylor, born in 1926. All four are interred in Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Winchester, Virginia.
