A graduate of Winnfield High, he spent two years in the army, and later attended La. Tech where he received his pre-med. His wife is the former Mattie Cookston, and they have one daughter, Karen. Dr. Jenkins and family will make their home in DeRidder where he will establish his office. Attending graduation exercises from Winnfield will be his parents, Mr. and Mr. Sion Jenkins and Tilly Cookston.
