The obituary of Isaac Washington JENKINS says he was born in McClean County,IL on 18 May 1869. He married [Mary] Alsinde BURK and lived in Selma and Clarksville , IL before moving to Minnesota. Isaac's sister, Nancy Belle JENKINS w/o Andrew M. BERRY, lived in Worthington,MN in April 1917, the day that Isaac and Alcinde JENKINS were burned to death in their home in Reading, Nobles County,Minnesota. The obituary of Henry Booten JENKINS [older brother of Nancy Belle and Isaac Washington] says that he had three daughters living in Worthington ,Minnesota in March 1943. They were Esther JENKINS w/o Dayton STAUBUS, Ruth JENKINS w/o Victor VILSTEN [BILSTEN], and Inez JENKINS w/o A.H/ DOEDEN. Henry Booten, Nancy Belle, and Isaac Washington JENKINS had an older brother John W. JENKINS, but I have no information to indicate descendants for John, and he was not listed as surviving his father, William E. JENKINS [s/o Norris JENKINS] who died in 1914 in Illinois. These are the only JENKINS I can tie to Minnesota. Perhaps they will connect to your line. [email protected] Elizabeth R.
