Hi Candy, I just got around to reading the Jenkins digest where you mention your Joseph Jenkins born 1732......it is entirely possible that we may match up, my ancestor was named Joseph Jenkins and in the searcing I have done, his parents are listed on census records as being born in VA and in checking with FTM online, I was sent the census for before 1850 I was sent information concerning Lincoln county, NC regarding my Joseph's father's line..."I think"....the reason I think this is my ancestor's family is because there were no family members in the county I was searching for them in before 1850...there were only Jenkins of my line in Lincoln county that had the first name that I was checking....can you please be so kind as to share what you have in your anestry and descendants so that I may check out your information against my information? My research has been very sketchy and extremely confusing or I'd send it to you.....it is 4 pages of conflicting information and I don't think you want to muddle through my long continiously screwey genealogy....can you help me out?
